Hello everyone! Here’s a fabulous wedding we wanted to share with you all, of Shelly + Trevor! We had so many great shots from this wedding and some of our favorites of the year!! We started the day off with the gals at Electric Lemon salon, while Trevor and his posse got ready back at the house. The couple was married at the epic Robertson Wesley United Church, one gorgeous venue to get married in. We headed out to several locations nearby for the formals and finished off at the Hotel Macdonald Empire Ballroom for their beautiful reception! We had the pleasure of working with Katherine Lomax again from Elegant Touches, who beautifully planned the wedding and did the excellent decor! We had the opportunity to do some amazing night shots of the couple, something that we love to do as they usually turn out to be very unique images. Be sure to check out this splendid wedding!

We couldn’t get enough of this couple’s smiles – Adriana + Kelly are such a joy to photograph! Adriana + her gals started with hair at Ricci Hair Co. downtown and makeup was done by James Kershaw. The ceremony was held at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a beautiful location with stunning architecture. Onto the bridal party formals, the couple took us to a never-before-seen bridge and natural park area that recently developed! We headed to other fabulous locations all over town and captured some amazing images! Adriana is a fantastic Ukrainian dancer, part of a dance troupe who have traveled all over the world for their spectacular Ukrainian dancing, and knowing this we had to incorporate her skills into our images 
Their reception was held at the Edmonton Petroleum Club, and the wedding was beautifully planned by the lovely Rebecca Fisher-Swarbrooke of High Culture: Weddings & Special Events Inc. Check out that cake from the Art of Cake! The reception included a gravity-defying show of Ukrainian dancing! We were more than stoked for Amanda + David’s wedding, as they were looking for wedding photos that were anything but ordinary and truly creative! What resulted were some very exciting images that we couldn’t wait to show!
Amanda and the girls started the day off at Blue Gemini salon in Terwilligar, and later headed to the Union Bank Inn to get dressed while David his guys got ready at the house.
Since their ceremony was later in the day, the couple had had their first meet at King Noodle House in Chinatown and a sip of tea together We had a blast doing formals around the area and inside a chinese supermarket What a gorgeous couple and bridal party, loved loved loved their energy! We then headed towards the Alberta Art Gallery for their beautiful ceremony, and the reception followed shortly after. It was a rockin reception, and the guests pulled a flash mob surprise on the couple and everyone got up to dance in sync! We had some pretty sweet images from this wedding for sure!

They had a vision in mind for their engagement pictures, in which the story would unfold of how they met, how their relationship gradually progressed, up until their decision to get married at the Art Gallery of Alberta! It was a picture-perfect day for Nim + T-H’s ahhhmazing wedding!
Nim and her gals started the day off with room service at the Delta Hotel City Centre! Nim had the most gorgeous dress and heels, and we loved the colors of her bridesmaid’s dresses too. T-H and his guys prepped at the house. The ceremony was held at Robertson Wesley United Church, always a marvelous place to get married in, with its spectacular balcony views
We had the best weather ever with deep blue skies and hot hot sun, one of our faves! And what a gorgeous bridal party, you can tell they were totally into it! Nim + T-H are very photogenic, don’t you just love their smiles! So Stunning!
The reception was held at the Shaw Conference Centre, with over 600 guests, and it was a beautiful venue to host as many guests as this! Nim + T-H’s wedding logo included ice cream symbols from their favorite spot, Marble Slab Creamery Lots of great speeches, dining and desserts (you’ve got to check this out), entertainment and dancing throughout the night made their special day complete!

Crystal + Daniel’s wedding was such a gorgeous affair! The gals got their hair done at Roxx Salon in Sherwood Park that morning, and later got ready at her parent’s house. The guys prepped at the couple’s house nearby. What a great-looking bridal party, all decked out to the nines, with the gals in little black dresses and the guys in sharp suits! It was off to the Santa Maria Goretti Church for their ceremony. After some delicious formals around downtown and nice weather to boot, they held their wedding reception at the Sutton Place Hotel. Her beautiful decor was elegant, classic and timeless, as was her entire wedding from the start! Check out some of the highlights!

Shobhana + Aleem, what a hot couple! They are perfect for each other, and they have dazzling smiles. The best thing about our job is getting to truly see true love in a big way. We see it in our couples and it’s just the most beautiful thing. We had such a great time documenting these two lovebirds and their pictures just make us want to dance!

Angela + Rick are such an adorable couple, and don’t they look absolutely smashing!! We can’t wait to document their beautiful wedding in Banff this summer, so stay tuned for that! We love their smiles and the way they look at each other. Angela is Miss Pretty – she loves pretty things such as cupcakes and beautiful shoes and she’s one pretty gorgeous gal herself! Wow. It’s been such a busy and exciting wedding season! We’re excited to showcase a whole bunch of weddings, so stay tuned for lots of eye candy! You may remember Steph + Alex’s beautiful e-session here! Well, we absolutely loved Stephanie + Alex’s gorgeous wedding, it was a spectacular day from start to finish!
The gals had hair and makeup at Eveline Charles South Common whereas the guys started off at his parent’s house. Steph and her girls then put on their dresses later at their house! The ceremony was held at St Timothy’s Anglican Church, and it was a very emotional time for them Onto the bridal party formals! We had super locations all over town, with some truly unique places just off the road! We were very excited, because it was the couple’s amazing personalities that shone in the photos. They are some of the nicest, most wonderful people you’ll ever meet! Their reception was held at the beautiful Mayfair Golf and Country Club, and the night was a blast with hilarious speeches, crazy dancing and divine details.

Pooja + Brian’s wedding was one of the most knockout weddings this year! You might remember their gorgeous engagement session in Banff here!
Everyone was talking about how they set the bar so high for all the future weddings to come Their amazing wedding was immaculately planned by Jordan of Atmosphere Wedding Planning and Design.
The gals started with hair and makeup at the Hotel Macdonald while the guys got dressed at the house. The ceremony was held at the Empire Ballroom at the Hotel Mac, with many emotional moments to capture. Their wedding day was perfect with sunny, deep blue skies, and we enjoyed documenting the funky formals with their stylin’ bridal party! When we arrived at the reception at the Art Gallery of Alberta, we were astounded by the fabulous decor. It was chic, elegant and stunning, beautifully planned to the last detail. The dazzling flowers were put together by La Piazza Dasee. The night was filled with lots of laughs, dancing and great memories to remember for years to come.
With such an exquisite couple and stunning wedding details, the Art Gallery of Alberta showcased Pooja + Brian’s wedding in the AGA Wedding Brochure and featured them on the cover of their wedding brochure too!

Angela and Troy’s fabulous wedding was certainly a wedding to remember! The day started off with the gals at the salon for hair and makeup, and later finished getting dressed at Angela’s parent’s house. Troy and his clan got ready at his own house, and then it was off to the Santa Maria Goretti church for a beautiful ceremony.
Here comes the ‘formals’ part of the day, which was anything but! Troy is a firefighter, and he had access to the fire station and of course, firetrucks. One of our most exciting experiences was to shoot the couple 100+ feet in the air on the firetruck bucket! This brave duo was not afraid of showing their love for each other up and away Troy pulled some strings again and another sweet location was having exclusive access to the Stadium, where the Eskimos play! We were kids in a candy store, being able to shoot in these rare location opportunities with such a photogenic couple.
The ultra-luxe reception was held at the Delta Edmonton South Hotel at the Grand Ballroom. There were many guests and quite a long receiving line, so in the meantime we did a mini photoshoot with Ethan, their son. Isn’t he adorable? He’s such a natural in front of the camera!
Sigh, it was an amazing, memorable day. Angela + Troy thanks for choosing us to be your wedding photographers! We loved documenting your one-of-a-kind wedding and wish you the best!

Lavish settings, the Art gallery, sweet alleyways and one couple and bridal party willing to do absolutely anything we wanted for their pictures. Sweet. We recently had the chance to spend a really wonderful afternoon-evening shooting the pre-wedding photos for Mary + Dave our daring and smokin’ couple. Mary + Dave are choosing to do something different – getting married in February they decided to get their wedding photos done in advance of their big day! Cool idea! Time is always the biggest element that we have to work with on the wedding day. Imagine how pleasant it is now that we have oodles of time to work with.

We are back from shooting a wedding in the Bahamas, in the meantime we’re SOO excited to showcase Kristin + Josh’s awesometastic wedding! Kristin found us a looong time ago and told us that ever since then, she’s wanted us to be her wedding photographers. Hearing those kinds of words and having the chance to connect like that really makes our job so amazingly beautiful. Now how about the wedding… The thing that really stands out about this wedding are the couples’ SMILES. The couple never held back! There’s nothing better than a super happy bride and groom who aren’t afraid to smile, cry, dance, and burst out laughing! And smile, laugh, cry, and dance they did – all day, all night.
Kristin’s gals got ready at her mom’s in the morning, and Josh’s guys at his friend Phil’s place. The ceremony was at the ultramod Alberta Art Gallery in their Ledcor Theatre, with plenty of tears of joy We definitely had a blast using the architecture of the Alberta Art Gallery and ventured to some nearby spots for formals. The reception was held at the trendy Packrat Louie just off of Whyte Ave. The food and service was amazing by the way, and everyone had a great time!
Kristin + Josh, thanks so much for choosing us to be your wedding photographers. We were so blessed to be the ones to capture all the great moments of your special day!

We’ve had the privilege of photographing the beautiful Milana since she was a little baby! You can see more of Milana on our previous blog posts here at 4 months , at 7 months, at 10 months, a little later at a playground and at Christmas.
Her parents Christie and Paul threw a truly fabulous 3rd birthday party for her and all of her friends, which included a live petting zoo, a variety of games, and Christie baked some delicious organic gluten-free birthday cupcakes It was a great time for both the kids and the adults!
Milana was delighted to see the chameleon lizard’s ultra-super-long tongue zap a little worm for its lunch, all in a split second.

Hello fine blog viewers! This engagement session is coming a little late, but better late than never. As y’all know we’re in high wedding season right now so that means, not so much sleep, lots of processing, tons of shooting and a whole lotta coffee. It gives us great pleasure to post this engagement session. Brings back all the memories from shooting with these two. And if there’s one thing that stands out so solidly, aside from their love for each other, it’s their smiles. Nothing less than stellar! Their wedding was amazing too. It was such great timing that we actually had the chance to photograph baby Avrie right on her 1st birthday, along with her gorgeous parents Demara and Matt! You might remember them from Demara’s maternity session here !
We absolutely love Avrie’s smiles, she really loves the beach and playing in the park! It was a blast to photograph such a beautiful family.

Love spending time with people creating a set of images that speak about the inner beauty of a person. For this beauty session allow us to introduce Yulia. Spending time getting to know this girl, the first thing that is apparent is more than her sheer beauty but her courage and her wittiness. We love the tenacity this girl showed, shooting with us in the cold morning air with barely anything on. Great job Yulia! You are a natural in front of the camera. Cheers
