Funky music, Hip hop dancing, Crazy asian tea ceremonies, Love, Laughter, and so much joy. Adria + Jesse’s wedding was a very different mix of so much culture and excitement. Take for example that they chose to do their ceremony in the Wedgewood room of the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald – but instead of doing it in the traditional fashion they stood in the center of the room with the Justice of the Peace walking around them while surrounded by friends and family and loved ones. Talk about awesomely different! And a great new setting to tie the knot – not to mention the great photography we captured. Then at their reception, they surprised everyone with some sweet Jabberwocky choreographed dancing, and even some Gangnam style dancing! This was a wedding for the record books and I’m so blessed to have been there to document and capture every moment! Adria + Jesse, all the best blessings in your life together, wherever your love takes you in this world.
All my love,
Kenneth

Crazy joy, crazy love, crazy fun! That’s how I would describe Lindsay + Damon’s wedding day. I had a blast shooting with them for their engagement session, and their wedding was no different! The below image gives you just a taste of the kind of people we were working with but suffice to say, it was laughs the whole day – with some tears at the end, and yes we did cry just a little during your speech Lindsay. So heart-felt and sentimental. All my love to you in your new found marriage! And to our regular blog subscribers as usual hit the jump for more!

Lynn + Alex’s wedding was really spectacular one, and we could not wait to showcase this, you can imagine our excitement!!
The couple got married at St. Joachim Catholic church, an astounding venue. Everyone always asks us where this place is when they see it, it’s just gorgeous! And then it was time for formals! The forecast said rain, and we were all very glad – it actually provided us with many locations we were dying to shoot in! Later the sun came out, and so we had outdoor locations as well!
The couple really wanted their guests to have fun, and surely it was a blast. From the posh decor at the Oasis Conference centre, to the lion dance introduction, to some surprise robotic dancers , finishing off with mega fireworks and fat franks during midnight lunch, this wedding was OTT awesomeness!
Props to Renee from getwed Event Planning and Melissa from Wedding Obsession for their super fab planning skills – the day was perfect! Also check out these awesome vendors that collaborated for this special day:

You may remember Belinda + James’ Calgary engagement session a little while back here, and now it was time for their dream wedding. It was fabulous weather in Calgary, as we started the day at Angles Hair Salon for hair and makeup. Lots of great moments captured of the bride as well as the groom, who got ready with the groomsmen earlier. The couple had their ceremony at the elegant Wedding Pavillion, one of our favorite venues in Calgary! It`s just an superbly gorgeous place dedicated to weddings. We headed out to some great locations in Calgary including the Olympic Park and found some never-been-seen locations! Sooo awesome!
The couple booked their reception at the Glencoe Golf and Country Club and we ooohed and aaahed at the lavish decor! Belinda + James had a very popular candy bar, cupcake stand as well as a fabulous cake and also tasty appetizers along with an elegant plated dinner. There were lots of crazy games as well as some superb night shots on the golf course
Props to A Love Story for creating a very cool same-day-edit video for the couple that was shown during the reception!

Kim + Chris were such an awesome couple to work with, it was such an out-of-the-box wedding from the start! Ah, those morning Chinese games, with the groomsmen having to eat soy sauce, wasabi and pay their way to see the bride! It was time for tea for each set of parents, and then the couple rushed off to get wed at Chateau Louis for a beautiful outdoor ceremony!
These formals were anything but! We started off at their fave place – Starbucks, and then headed out to their former high school, Ross Sheppard where they first met! These high school sweethearts wanted their day to be fun and memorable, and we totally captured the essence of their day. The reception was held at Dynasty Restaurant with flowers from FaBLOOMosity, decorations from Danita from A Chair to Remember, and the day was well executed by the talented wedding planner Renee from getwed Event Planning. Check out this awesome wedding, so many great moments!

We’re excited to showcase Vanessa and Jesse’s beautiful banff wedding! This was a destination wedding for the couple as they currently reside in Ottawa. We loved their great smiles and romantic interaction.
Vanessa and Jesse got ready in different rooms at the Delta Banff Hotel. It was a calm and peaceful morning with both parties ready to go. Vanessa chose gorgeous turquoise cheongsams for her bridesmaid dresses and accented with red details. The heartfelt Christian ceremony was held at the Gazebo in Central Park. The closest of friends and family travelled afar to attend. And then it was time for the formals, and we definitely used the natural beauty of Banff, with its rocky cliffs, lush forests and crystal clear waters. Vanessa and Jesse were a fearless couple, as we asked them to climb a mountain for a certain awesome shot. Vanessa, who is used to rock climbing was totally for it and heights did not faze her!!
We arrived back at the hotel for the traditional tea ceremony and the reception shortly afterwards. It was a fantastic night of laughter and dancing.
Vanessa + Jesse, thank you very much for choosing us to be your wedding photographers!
Cheers and God Bless
Elaine + Kenneth

It was a picture-perfect day for Nim + T-H’s ahhhmazing wedding!
Nim and her gals started the day off with room service at the Delta Hotel City Centre! Nim had the most gorgeous dress and heels, and we loved the colors of her bridesmaid’s dresses too. T-H and his guys prepped at the house. The ceremony was held at Robertson Wesley United Church, always a marvelous place to get married in, with its spectacular balcony views
We had the best weather ever with deep blue skies and hot hot sun, one of our faves! And what a gorgeous bridal party, you can tell they were totally into it! Nim + T-H are very photogenic, don’t you just love their smiles! So Stunning!
The reception was held at the Shaw Conference Centre, with over 600 guests, and it was a beautiful venue to host as many guests as this! Nim + T-H’s wedding logo included ice cream symbols from their favorite spot, Marble Slab Creamery
Lots of great speeches, dining and desserts (you’ve got to check this out), entertainment and dancing throughout the night made their special day complete!
